We begin our day with a smile, as we greet our teachers and friends,
Happy to be in our classroom,where fun and learning never ends
Our hearts are filled with love and passion for so very many things,
Our joy expressed in the games we play; in Minecraft we build our own world
On the playground we run so fast; playing soccer,
kickball and oh how we love to spin and twirl
All of us, great artists, in every media we try;
we paint pug dogs and draw flowers like daisies and lilies
We dance, sing and act, creating characters and being silly
Exploring our Emerald city, taking trips sharing music and theater and sounds
Being guests from Benaroya to UW and more, we sure do get around
Our palates are not like your average 3rd grade girl or boy
We grow fresh food in our gardens, we love sushi and salmon, and of course,bacon;
but,we are famous for our pizza joy
We get our inspirations from all walks of life,
Getting pumped up by Jon Cena's song, like him we are so strong.
Our heroes are many, we love to move fast like Bruce Lee,
We also love to make friends laugh, just like the Great Bill Murray!
We rock out with great Seattle bands, we love Pearl Jam, Hendrix and Kobane
We may be fast talkers, like auctioneers;
and when we talk to much, our room gets a bit insane
At the end our day we fall into our beds, fast asleep we are all Stars
In our dreams we are Pirates and Gymnasts, vaulting, and flowing on uneven bars
We fly like Mike, swish like Steph, kick like Rashford and Levque and Dunk like Lebron
Sometimes we are birds colorful Parrots and Seahawks so strong
So grateful for our Fearless Leader, Ms. Sawyer; she's shares her love of nature and life
she leads us on a hopeful trail of knowledge and power
As we take our owns paths, we are never alone, we have our family and friends
with us now and in every fun filled hour
